Day 84 Week 12

Yes I am still here! Hard at work planning here. I have finished Burn the Fat Feed The Muscle and I am setting new goals, planning meals and workouts and I have to run to the store later to pick up the rest of what I need for my menu plan and then cook some food ahead. The past few days have been a disaster food wise and I cannot wait to get back to proper eating, I am bloated and sick feeling. I just have not had the right foods on hand and I have been too tired to go to the store, blah blah blah same ole story when you come off clean eating . Its a serious struggle to get going again. I am trying to motivate myself.

Looking back over the past 12 weeks, I have learned a lot. I have proven to myself that I can compete, that I do have the discipline to do it. I have had a lot of muscles start popping out that I have never really seen before and even though my weight hasn't changed I did get smaller and leaner in my upper body. I didn't hit my goals but I know why now.

After some serious reading , thinking and going back over meals, I was under eating by quite a bit and stuck in starvation mode. I was losing great the first 4-5 weeks, and then nothing. My body had adapted to that calorie level and I got progressively more tired. Incidentally I went back and put a menu I was eating regularly through fitday and it was between 14 and 1500 cals a day way lower then I thought.

Its all a learning process. You have to pay attention to your body and I wasn't really paying attention, I prefer the don't look till the end then be surprised method, but you may not get the surprise you were expecting. I will be tracking everything weekly and be posting meals and all the nitty gritty info (ugh) LOL.

I will unveil the new plan soon! Stay tuned!
