The 100 day Challenge

Katie started this Challenge on her blog, Thin Enough To Go To The Gym and if you haven't been over there go and have a read, shes got some great stuff, I love the way she writes, tons of thought povoking useful stuff there! If you need a challenge why not join us?
So if you notice on the sidebar there is cute little ticker to keep track of the days.

This could not have come at a better time. I just weighed myself and man I am in shock. No one to blame but myself.
So when I do a challenge I usually put all my emphasis on what I want to weigh... and I do have a number..of course! I really want to make this challenge about living the lifestyle though. I want to concentrate on getting my workouts and cardio in without skipping, and eating the meals on my plan and making it all a habit again because I have fallen out of those habits. I don't want lifes stresses to throw me off track I want to learn to deal with things differently then I have been.
I have been journaling like mad and its really helping to clarify all the thoughts running rampant in my head. I have been thinking about making time to meditate, since Chris, my instructor pointed out to us thats it very helpful and he does this as well. My response whenever anyone has suggested it is, I don't have time and ... isn't that for those yoga types? Don't hit me lol.
Oh and yoga, I want to take a weekly class and see how I like it, mainly because I WANT to and I bought a mat a while back...anything that may help me get fitter that I WANT to do is major plus.

Also I love the Bodyjam class at the gym, its so much fun, another good way to burn some extra calories. I will probably go slow on this, hit whichever one I feel like one week and then the next week add the other one etc. I want to try a cardiobox class, just because I never have.

I love trying new things!
I want to get some DVD's with different workouts on them for something different when I am ultra bored and also for when its raining since I can't buy a treadmill. My husbands like just run in place >.> Where is the fun in that?

Gods Kitchen is coming October 2. I am really excited. So there is another goal for me. Since I am such a hermit and social misfit these things are a big deal to me, plus the music is amazing! I can chalk that up as one huge cardiothon. Here is a peek at Gods Kitchen :D

Man I am so excited!

I have also started a recipe book, all my healthy recipes go in here. So I don't have to go searching the net every time I want a recipe.

Did I mention I made a Rocks and Dirt List?
Well I wouldn't eat rocks and dirt right? So why the hell do I eat some of the things I eat? Seriously there are some things you can find in a supermarket so horrible for you they just should not be eaten, some of these things are the same for everyone across the board and others are individual accoding to how it may affect you. These things affect me horribly. I swell up like a whale and pass out in a carb coma.

My Rocks and Dirt list

Pre-packaged cookies
donuts
cheesy rolls
prepackaged cakes
chips
crackers

I can eat dark chocolate and fruit and never get these affects.

I know I said I didn't want to make this all about what I weigh, but I will be weighing in weekly. If I had been weighing regularly I never would have let myself get to the weight I am now. Of course I won't be cheating so it will consistently go down, but I want to watch the pattern at which it goes down because I find that very interesting.

Ok I have rambled on long enough.
If you want to join the challenge it starts today! Head over to Katies Blog and let her know!
